2019 Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and songwriting Hero, John Prine, passed away April 7th at the age of 73 from complications of COVID-19. He was diagnosed with coronavirus on March 26th, 2020. Thoughts and prayers with his wife Fiona and his children.

Seattle Public Schools have made the decision for close to two weeks with the COVID-19 concerns. According to an email sent to school administrators Wednesday, Seattle Public Schools will close for a minimum of two weeks starting Thursday. The district did later confirm the news in a press release.
The Seattle Mariners home-opener might be their home away from home and played in Arizona because of the coronavirus. Gov. Jay Inslee has put a ban on events that have 250 or more people and with the Mariners home-opener slated to be on March 26th, it’s likely that it will not happen at T-Mobile Park.
