Bickford Ford Community Hero Maureen McKenny is featured on today’s Fitz in the Morning “The Good Stuff”. 78-year-old Maureen, who lives in Port Townsend, has been making masks for nurses and others in her community who are working on the Front Lines of our Nursing Homes. And despite being on a fixed income, Maureen is using her Federal Stimulus Check to pay for it all. She is our Bickford Ford Community Hero for May!
Our friends at Disney have done it again! The “Disney Family Sing-A-Long Two was a great hit for the whole family on Mother’s Day! The hour-long special had Supercalifraglasticexpealidocious performances from Katy Perry, Idina Menzel, Derek Hough, Hayley Erbert, Julianne Hough, Seth Rogan, Billy Eichner, Donald Glover and more with songs from Alladin, The Lion King, and lots more. Here are some of our favorites!
For some folks, the only break from the Stay-at-Home order is a quick walk around the block, whether it’s alone, with your dog, or with your kids. In my neighborhood, some folks have gone out of their way to brighten things for everyone else, even if it’s just a little bit. Maybe you can take some of these ideas and do them yourself, to brighten up your neighborhood!
In case you missed it, the Disney Family Sing-a-Long on ABC Thursday was a blast! Stars from Country, Broadway, TV, and yes, Disney, sang some of our favorite Disney classics with the follow-the-bouncing-ball (well, Mickey ears!) words at the bottom so everyone in the family can sing every word and every note.

The ACM’s may have been postponed until September, but tonight (Sunday) the Academy of Country Music Awards presents a series of at-home, personal acoustic performances and intimate conversations with Country Music’s biggest stars.
